Recycled news

Steelers + motorcycles = bad idea.

Steelers tackle Barrett Brooks was arrested early Sunday after police said he fled from them on motorcycle. The 34-year-old offensive lineman was charged with fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, driving at an unsafe speed and other traffic violations.

Apparently Brooks thought he was Mr. Hotshot Speed Demon or something. This is just bizarre behavior:

The arrest occurred shortly before 2:30 a.m. on the city's South Side when Brooks allegedly drove recklessly around a police car, prompting officers to try to pull him over, Washington said. Brooks did not stop and officers gave chase for about five minutes, he said. Brooks rode through a red light and a stop sign, Washington said. When Brooks dropped his motorcycle at an intersection, he tried to get back on his bike and drive away when officers made the arrest, Washington said.

Sounds like he's drunk or high or something, right?

Police said Brooks was not legally intoxicated and was not wearing a helmet.

Too bad, it would have made more sense. And don't you think he would have learned from his beloved QB's dangerous accident earlier this summer and been a little more careful? Apparently not, since he wasn't wearing a helmet. Some people never learn.

The latest cover of The Sporting News featured everyone's favorite ho-bag and desperate housewife, Anna Benson. Yet again, she has neglected to wash her hair or even brush it, since it looks like Medusa. Why this is so hard for Anna to do, I'm not sure; must be too taxing for her or something. Her recent appearance at the World Series of Poker displayed her dirty hair and nasty attitude. Surprise, surprise.
