What a shocker

How about that, the Nationals lose a one-run game. Livan SUCKED. And what a class act: he threw all of his crap (glove, hat, jacket) in the crowd when he left the game because he was pissed and made the Nats staff go get it back for him. Asswipe.

My favorite moment (and I only wish I had gotten it on film) was a guy wearing a Nats home jersey that read, "FUK ANGELOS" on the back. Sort of like this one (but MLB.com wouldn't let me put FUK in there). It was awesome.

At least we picked up three of the six-pack coolers. (Kitten not included.)

Are you as sick of the Nats TV blackouts as I am? So are a lot of area bar owners- that's why they started I Want My NATS TV. Just because Angelos got pantsed one too many times as a kid, and Comcast is greedy as shit, doesn't mean that the rest of us should have to suffer.

And from Boz's chat yesterday:

Leesburg, Va.: The top 5 reasons why it's great to have baseball in DC.

5. Heated political discussions have been replaced with heated hitting order discussions.
4. Two words, bouncing bleachers.
3. Summer reading replaced with watching baseball on TV. Oh wait, we still can't watch baseball on TV.
2. It really p. o.'d Peter Angelos.
And the number one reason why it's great to have baseball in DC…
1. Redskins training camp? Who cares!

I know how you feel on not being able to see them on TV. All we get in the way of baseball down here on a regular basis is Chicago Cubs and Atlanta Braves. We only occasionaly see the Nationals pass through Atlanta and Chicago, and once in a while on ESPN. They need a channel to regularly air them like the Braves and Cubs do. Of course, it's easy to say that...
