WOW

When was the last time Atlanta was in the freaking basement? Never thought I'd see this day.
MLB Standings as of 6/20/2006:

It figures, the ONE TIME I want Atlanta to win the division title again! Still would love to see the overly smug Mets fall flat on their butts by the end of the season, but that would mean rooting for the Phillies to catch up...lesser of two evils, I guess.

Perhaps just as disturbing is the "W8" along side the Marlins.

It's nice not seeing the Nats at the bottom at least! Not that last night's performance is anything to feel fuzzy over...

What's wrong with the Mets?

David Wright is dreamy.

May the Atlanta Braves and their useless fans rot in the NL East cellar for, oh, I don't know, 14 more seasons...

If I was John Smoltz, I would be frustrated to say the least. Last time on the mound he gets 21 outs, and leaves the team with a lead. All his relief had to get was 6 outs, but they choke and Boston comes back to win.

Bwah hah hah- good point on the W8, Biff. That IS scary!

Marci- David Wright?!? Please tell me you did NOT just say that!

Yes, thank God the Nats aren't down there anymore...

I'm with the crowd... just happy to see that *anyone* is below the Nats!

Yeah, I know, but the *Braves* in the cellar? What on Earth is next, the Orioles leading their division?

Nah.

David Wright ROCKS! Smug? We have been waiting for this for a long time!!!!!!!!!!

If the Nats finish in anything but last place we will get to listen to Jim Bowden tell us how much better this year's team is that last year's.

As a Braves fan this is getting frustrating. Our winning % is only better than the Pirates, Cubs and Royals. OMG we're group with them instead of the Yankees and Red Sox. The Natural, or so nicknamed, Francoeur sucks something really bad right now, 6 walks with 61 K's and an OBP of .269, he's not getting it done at all. No way we continue this streak much less our playoff streak, put a fork in us, we're dead.
