Note to men: this is typically not the best way to react when your wife tells you she wants a divorce:
Cleveland Browns running back Reuben Droughns threw his wife out the door of their home after she said she wanted a divorce, according to a sheriff's report...The arrest report said Kellie Droughns' right arm was hurt in the May 12 incident at their suburban Denver home.
And I wonder why she wants to get the hell out?
Droughns was released on $2,500 bail Thursday on one count of assault and two counts of harassment. He surrendered to police the day before and spent the night in jail...Droughns faces six to 18 months in jail if convicted of assault and up to six months in jail if convicted of harassment.
Well, given that he was acquitted by a jury of a drunk driving charge earlier this year, I doubt he'll have to serve any time. That one night in jail was probably it for him. Still, what a way for his wife to be reassured that she made the right decision.
