Apparently the Dolphins enjoy having troublemakers on the team. Just think of them as Oakland lite:
[Marcus] Vick, the brother of Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick , signed with the Dolphins yesterday, agreeing to a free agent deal after his many problems at Virginia Tech cost him in last month's NFL draft.
You'd think that when almost all of the teams, even the really really sucky ones, stayed away from Vick, there's a reason for it. No one wanted to deal with the next T.O. Well, almost no one. The Dolphins just weren't getting enough abuse with Ricky Williams' suspension, so they felt the need for more pain.
"As an organization, we did an enormous amount of research, including consulting with professionals in detailed, in-depth analysis to feel comfortable that giving Marcus an opportunity as a free agent is a risk worth taking," Dolphins Coach Nick Saban said in a statement released by the team.
What professionals were they using? A magic 8-ball?
The Dolphins are listing Vick as a "wide receiver-quarterback-specialist," clearly indicating that he could be tried in a number of roles.
So they picked the guy up and didn't even know where they wanted to put him? Oh, that makes perfect sense. Well, he's really good at stomping on people's heads, so they should put him in a role where he can excel at that. Wide receiver-quarterback-specialist ought to do it.

How long before they start putting "Marcus Vick Free Zone" signs up at the junior highs in Dade County?
Oh, you have to check this out! NBC4 is doing a series on blogs and there's a screen shot of yours in the intro part (right after Wonkette)!
He will also be tried in a number of jurisdictions. (credit to "The Regular Guys" for that joke)
