I pity the fool who doesn't check me out!
Anyway, one of the most intriguing displays was the one that was the least expected. We were walking around the open space on the 8th floor when all of the sudden, my nostrils were pleasantly assaulted by the smell of buffalo wings. It was the DC Divas, who had one of the coolest areas: astroturf, big screen TV showing clips from their games, free posters, and food. I was a little intimidated to get anything (those women are tough), but I was suitably impressed by their display. It was attracting a lot of attention; even the security guards were busy watching the TV and commenting on what badasses these women were.
Their season starts next Sunday, so if you're looking to fill that football void (the draft just won't do it), check them out. I'm adding them to the list of things to check out this summer, which includes a vintage baseball game.

You go, I go baby!
There's beer right?
That art thing looks fun, except for Mr T. who looks sad, like he is genuinely pitying some fool.
Did you guys do the interactive interview thing that they talk about?
I went to dinner at Jaleo in Crystal City on Sat. and my dining companion was talking non-stop about Artomatic. Looks interesting.
Lucky- interactive interview thing?
Needless to say, we didn't do it.
I was at Artomatic late Saturday night and had a great time. Some really interesting pieces in there, not least of which are the hysterical Peeps dioramas.
We didn't even make it to the other floor, so I'll likely be returning there this weekend.
