Steve Goff's "Soccer Insider" mentioned this and I thought it would be a nice tribute to tomorrow's home opener. Thank goodness that DC United is a lot more exciting than this game! (Is it bad to admit that this is one of my favorite Simpsons clips?)

Yeah right, not like the total nonstop action of baseball or NFL "football" what with the exciting commercials, instant replay challenges, time-outs, and a total actual playing time of about twelve minutes a game.
Americans are just afraid of soccer because it wasn't invented here and they therefore do not naturally dominate at it.
I'm just saying. (getting off my high horse)
HYSL - you getting on / off your horse is more exciting than soccer.
