Here they go again!

First it was the 2006 "Fan Appreciation Day," then it was the Pre-Draft Party. An eagle-eared Chanuck noted the tag in the TV ad for the Redskins Beach Blitz: "Go to RedskinsBeachBlitz.com to buy tickets." Sure enough, the Redskins are charging $15 for the following (and I quote):

- FREE clinics with the players, coaches, and cheerleaders
- FREE autograph sessions
- FREE parking
- Entry into the Redskins Beach Blitz Football Challenge, where you get rushed through throwing a few passes and pushing some tackle dummies. Ooh.
- And don't forget the "Redskins merchandise opportunities!"

Yes, for $15 for "two to three hours," you get all this. But don't worry, kids 2 and under are FREE!

Don't worry, I'm not going to the Beach Blitz. But if I'm in town (might be away for work), I'll be at your party!

It really is kind of orwellian isn't it?

Are either of you guys going to write about the DC United game? I wrote a little blurb, but I'm sure I don't know what I'm talking about.
