30-second timeout

OK, so it's more like 7 weeks.
I'm heading off to training in various East Coast locations and won't have much time to update the blog (or much internet access, for that matter). Talk about sucky timing- there's going to be plenty to talk about, between the Super Bowl, the Olympics, spring training, and March Madness, to name just a few. Fred has promised to keep the blog updated at least once a week and I hope to log on whenever possible, so we'll see how that works out. Can't vouch for what he'll say or how he'll say it, but I laid down a few ground rules for him:

- he must blog about topics other than hockey or soccer, though some Olympic hockey coverage is fine
- anti-Pittsburgh posts are limited to one
- any pro-Anna Benson discussion is OFF LIMITS (is she ever going to wash her hair? ew.)

Wish me luck (both with training and Fred running the show). Laters!

Alright Fred, so about Anna Benson coming to the area, even if it is to the hole of a city to our north.

Can we limit the Pro-Philly posts around here while we're at it?

D, don't get Fred started- otherwise this will turn into a soccer blog :-)

Captain, seeing as both Fred and I are from the Philly area, we can't help the pro-Philly sentiments. But there haven't been many (if any) pro-Philly posts at all of late. I regularly bash T.O., isn't that a good thing?

Marci and Miss M, we need to schedule another EPH night when I get back- but in the meantime, Law-Ruh is willing to take my place on the team.

7 weeks?? Should we go ahead and plan a state funeral for you since you'll be gone an eternity?

The Playaz wish you well.

I know I have some mighty big shoes to fill, but I will do my best.
As for the anti-Pitsburg rants, I will try to reserve one per team in the city. Can't promise anything in regards to Mrs. Benson. She may do something completely outragous that may require some comment. Lets hope that is the case.
