Here's to new beginnings...

Welcome! As I sit here watching the Nationals game on TV (I know, it seems impossible, but it's a weekend game on UPN-20), I decided to get this blog up and running. It came to me yesterday while I was thinking about Livan Hernandez's boneheaded and selfish comments after the game last week when they lost the series to the Rockies. Yes, it was a few days ago, but I was still a little ticked off about it- and needed some sort of an outlet in which to vent my feelings. Thus, the blog was born.

I'll primarly focus on DC sports, but I reserve the right to comment on athletes and teams in other parts of the country/world. I will also discuss other issues that catch my attention, such as the idiocy of celebrities and various "Oddly Enough" stories. (Can't help the second one; the headlines pop up all the time in my Gmail and I'm too intrigued to stop myself from clicking on them. Who can resist "Good news for dark chocolate lovers" even though I don't like dark chocolate, or "Drive-through robber gets bank loot", through the pneumatic tube no less?) Oh, this will be fun...
