May I direct your attention to the links on the right-hand side of the page? They're listed in order of professional vs. college teams, then in order of my personal interest/knowledge. I don't know much, if anything, about the DC Divas but support their efforts wholeheartedly (I sure wouldn't want to piss them off- I saw a couple of them once when I was volunteering at an event and quickly understood that they're definitely the football player type). You'll notice that one DC professional team is missing- the Redskins. Can't stand 'em. I hate how they dominate the news YEAR-ROUND even when nothing is happening. They're such a lousy team and don't deserve half of the attention they get, yet people go crazy for them. I don't get it. I'm all for rooting for your team in good times and bad, but the Redskins...ugh. Dan Snyder isn't high on my list either- charging people to attend practices, the whole FedEx parking debacle, etc. What a moneygrubber. That jackass certainly plays into my feelings about the Redskins. I have nothing against Joe Gibbs, though. Good luck to him if he can turn those guys around.
I'm not a huge Eagles fan either, but I had to list that as an "interest" in my profile or my husband wouldn't be too thrilled with me. I sort of follow the Texans because my dad has season tickets and we usually get to one game a season; besides, I just love underdog teams. Now there's some fans who know how to tailgate!

My husband and I were stunned at the first Texans game we attended. The parking lots are always full, but

most people don't go into the game- they buy parking passes to stay in the lot. They bring huge screen TVs, full-size BBQ grills, couches, you name it. They put my chair-in-a-bag and hibachi to shame. And the fans are so much fun- even when the Texans are losing big time, they don't care; they're just so happy to have a team. We watched these two girls in front of us order two beers apiece, at least five times. And they were still going strong! Whoa.
