Whoops! :) They screw up their captions a lot, sometimes in the print paper. (Like they had the wrong dog's name in the caption of the photo that went with an article this weekend on military dogs.) The caption in the Samoan football article in the print paper was ok though -- and it was a great article, I might add.
I always just assume that the screwups are a result of downsizing in the copy editing department. It's a department that gets no praise when it does great work, so it is always a target for layoffs, but everyone notices when a mistake like this gets through.
