Well, there's any number of reasons (Melissa was referring to the abhorrent spelling). Here's some quotes from her blog:

Michael Jordan propsed to me in April 2001 while still legally married to Juanita Jordan.
My guess is that he said something like "Will you carry me" and something else was heard.
I would like to be married soon and let my child have the benefits of a father.

Falsely accussing someone of a crime - stalking is illegal in all 50 states - is LIBEL and actionable in a court of law.

Lisa, you should really stop waving the word "libel" and threatening to proceed legally when you barely have a leg to stand on. Let's hypothetically assume for that you filed your lawsuit in federal court in Pennsylvania. Well, even if you filed in state court, DCSportsChick could get it removed to federal. Nevertheless, Pennsylvania law would be applied. Under PA law "In order for a plaintiff to prevail in a libel action, there must be sufficient evidence to permit the conclusion that the defendant in fact entertained serious doubts as to the truth of his publication." Rosenbloom v. Metromedia, 403 U.S. 29 (1970).
Simply put, you would bear the burden of showing that DCSC doubted the veracity of what she posted. Even more simply put, you would basically be telling a judge "your honor, I have a website where I posted lies and then she copied my lies so I think she committed libel." I'm pretty sure that would not get you very far.
Aside from that, not many lawyers would take an obviously frivolous lawsuit to court knowing they can be sanctioned under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
Oh, I should also note that North Carolina law is similar to Pennsylvania should you chose NC.
